Association of Catholic Professionals — Masaka Diocese
Uniting faith and expertise to serve God, humanity, and nation with integrity, honesty, and moral uprightness.
ASSOCAP–Masaka Diocese is an Association of Catholic Professionals founded under the auspices of the Ordinary of Masaka Diocese, Rt. Rev. Severus Jjumba. Operating under the Laity Commission, we are a re-awakening of a precious resource — both to the Diocese and to the nation.
We believe knowledge must be anchored in God. As one great thinker noted: "knowledge without God only creates clever devils." Our professionals are called to be a true reflection of Christ's Pastoral Ministry in their daily work.
Seeing a cohesive Professional Force working in Faithfulness to Christ's Pastoral Ministry.
To be a leading professional institution in the service of Humanity following the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
"Significant Living"
Promoting core Catholic values among professionals with a focus on Integrity, Honesty and Moral Uprightness. We are called to let others see Christ through the work we do.
Interconnectivity of Catholic professionals for sustainable growth. A comprehensive database of all Catholic Professionals will be developed and presented to the Bishop.
"Alone I move fast — together we move far."
A lawyer needs a doctor. A doctor needs a teacher. A teacher needs a vet. We are interdependent — bound by Christ as our unifying factor.
Evangelization through Community Service — following the footsteps of Jesus Christ who selflessly gave himself to the world.
Every professional has the capacity to give back: lawyers offering free counsel to the poor, doctors serving the sick, accountants protecting the vulnerable from exploitation.
Activities under ASSOCAP's mandate are envisaged in an annual work-plan, laid out during the Annual General Assembly — ensuring our actions remain relevant, accountable, and impactful.
